Hi everyone! My name is Joan. I am from China. This is my second semester, in ESL. My major is interactive multimedia arts. I am in the graduate program. My goal this semester is to improve my English. Often listening and understanding of the native American Language is very difficult for me. I don’t know certain vocabulary terms used when an individual converses to me. First this is my goal; my plan is to focus on developing and understanding English. This is my main reason for coming to America. I want to become a good English speaker. It will help me to enhance my future career. Modern art was born in New York City, and most of the design books are written in English. Therefore a good command of the English language is versatile in multimedia arts. This will be my opportunity to add my ideas and contribute to the design world. My dream is to be a part of the ICOGRADA as a designer.
